Our well-appointed main house, beautiful walking trails, expansive playgrounds, chicken coops and gardens are all fortunate enough to call these 12 acres their home. 

 

Strengthening our connection with nature and the environment is an integral part of Oak Grove Montessori School. We seek to instill in our students, parents, faculty, and staff not only a reverence for the earth and all living things, but also a sense of stewardship for the environment. Our campus allows us to consciously work to foster in each person a strong sense of belonging in the world of nature.

 

We accomplish this through outdoor education at every age level, using the natural setting of our campus and the wide variety of natural resources around us as an outdoor classroom. Each age level participates in gardening, small animal care, live plant care, recycling, and the use of environmentally friendly products. We refer to our campus as a community and focus on ensuring each member of our community recognizes their responsibility to care for the resources we have been given.
