Festival of Lights

Parents, students and staff all enjoyed an evening of food and fun while we traveled from continent to continent learning more about the traditions and customs of that region. It was a great kick-off to the Christmas holiday.

Journey & Discovery
Parent Education Program

As they journey silently through each environment, practicing their keen skills of observation, parents of students at Oak Grove experience the first period of what is known in Montessori as, the three-period lesson. Later, during the discovery portion of the program, participants experienced the Montessori materials, through guided lessons and independent exploration, just as their child does everyday at OGM.
Journey & Discovery programs are made available to parents and other interested individuals each year at Oak Grove.
